Eligibility :

The eligibility requirements for Stanford University Scholarships are as follows:

• English is a necessary language.
• All nations are eligible to apply for the Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program, which is open to those who earned their first or bachelor's degree in 2015 or later and plan to participate in classes in 2022.
• In the four years following the completion of your first or bachelor's degree, you must apply and enroll in order to be eligible.
• You must possess first-rate mental acuity, the desire to learn and encounter new things, an abundance of creative ideas, the ability to make sense of ambiguous circumstances, and the capacity to maintain an opposing or divergent viewpoint.
• In addition to submitting your Knight-Hennessy Scholars application, you must also complete the rest of the application process, which may include taking any required standardized tests for your graduate degree program (such as the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, etc.), as well as an English proficiency test if necessary.
• In the truest sense of the word, you must be ambitious, driven to better yourself, and risk-taking. self-aware, persistent, and able to overcome challenges. Personal qualities include low ego, inclusiveness, appreciation for difference, and humility.
• To enroll in a course at Stanford, you must be a proficient speaker, reader, and writer of English. At Stanford, a 100iBT or 600PBT TOEFL score is required for the majority of graduate programs. The IELTS, PTE, and TOEFL are accepted by the MBA program at Stanford as well as by all of its graduate-level degree programs.
• You must first apply to, be accepted into, and enroll in a full-time graduate degree program at Stanford in addition to Knight-Hennessy Scholars. Each new Knight-Hennessy Scholar must be a graduate student at Stanford, enrolling in a program for a DMA, JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MPP, MS, or PhD, among others. By discipline or program, there are no quotas. Keep in mind that applicants who will attend Stanford for at least two years will receive top consideration.

Coverage of  Scholarships

The perks of receiving a Stanford University scholarship are as follows:

• a travel allowance designed to pay for one round-trip ticket in economy to and from Stanford each year.
• a monthly allowance for living and educational costs (such as room and board, books, academic supplies, instructional materials, local transportation, and reasonable personal expenses).
• a fellowship that is directly used to pay for tuition (according to the typical departmental level of attendance) and related costs.
• Normally, expenses that your home department at Stanford pays for its students, including for subscriptions or lab supplies, are not covered by the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program.

How can I apply for a Stanford University scholarship?

To be eligible for this scholarship, follow these procedures for applying:

(1) You need to register here and begin your online application.

(2) You must finish and submit the online admissions form (including personal and academic information, etc.). The university will need basic information about your bio and demographics, as well as an explanation of your hobbies and interests.

(3) The following paperwork has to be submitted:

• For each college or university you attended for an academic year or longer, please provide an unofficial or self-reported transcript of your grades there and, if relevant, in graduate school. You can download the template for a self-reported transcript if you are unable to offer an unofficial transcript. The degree awarded and the date it was awarded must be listed on your transcript, if appropriate. If the credits from your study abroad trips are included on your record, we do not need copies of your transcript.
• A résumé outlining your educational background, experience, and accomplishments will be included. One page for every ten years of experience after high school is our standard.

• Include the following in your essay (you may submit a maximum of 1,750 words for both essays together):
• Make connections. How have your life's experiences influenced you?
• How are you going to follow your life's calling? How will your Knight-Hennessy Scholars experience and Stanford education support this?
• Two minutes is the maximum time for your video, according to the story. That's acceptable if you can respond in less than 30 seconds. You are not required to talk for the full allotted time, nor is it expected.
• All Knight-Hennessy Scholars application materials must be submitted online in English. Emails and postal letters are not acceptable forms of communication.
• We strongly advise applying with the most recent versions of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
