Each year, the Board of Admissions bestows the Presidential Scholarship on incoming first-year students who have excelled academically.
Presidential Scholars are not only among our most academically gifted students, but they also excel outside of the classroom and are leaders in their schools and communities.
This tuition scholarship of $25,000 is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate studies at BU.

- All merit awards and other scholarships are open to US citizens, permanent residents, and eligible non-citizens.
- International students are only considered for the Trustee and Presidential Scholarships.
Trustee Scholarship
- Annual Cost: Full tuition and fees
- The deadline is December 1st, 2022.
- Number of Prizes: 20
- There is no CSS ProfileTM or FAFSA required.
- The Common Application requires one essay.
How To Apply for Trustee Scholarship
- By December 1, submit the Common Application and all required materials for admission to one of BU's undergraduate degree programs.
- As part of your BU application, complete the Trustee Scholarship essay on the Common Application.
